Watermarking with ring

1. Light impression.
— Improve sheet formation as a close formation contributes to clean watermarks.
— Increase loading pressure on watermarking rings.
— Increase refining if other tests will permit.
2. Embossed watermark.
— reduce loading pressure.
3. Bouncing markers.
— Increase loading pressure and/or spring tension on individual markers.
— Check the bearings on the watermarking wheels.
— Alter machine speed to reduce bouncing.
4. Heavy impression on one side of the watermark.
— Check alignment and have the watermarking wheel leveled,
— If the rubber ring is improperly mounted on the wheel or crowding to one side, remove it and have repaired.
